Happy July!!!

Hope you all had a great fourth of July! We were very very busy here at camp. Luckily no firework-related injuries. Just stitches, a split lip and a broken collarbone. Poor kids. After the 4th of July fun, we had Olympics Day yesterday, where four teams compete for the camp trophy. The teams were Flower Power

The boys had a ton of fun - the infirmary's part of the relay race was the Infirm Check-In. It consisted of Taking Your Meds (a cup of chocolate chips), Applying Sunscreen (a full cup of it), Wrapping Your Partner's Knee, Saving A Life (using an EpiPen trainer on their partner) and Patching a BooBoo (bandaid on random body part). They were super fast. Then two kids threw up after the pie-eating portion. One little guy was crying because he was "disappointed in his poor performance." After a day of running around, the kitchen hosted a Viking Dinner, where everyone ate like Viking Men (just their hands). The nurses were totally grossed out but we kept it clean.

Now that my camera batteries are charged and I can steal the infirmary's internet, I'll be updating a lot more frequently, I hope! Hope your summer vacays are going well! Miss you all!
