It was really cold with lots of flurries before bed, but the only way I saw this was because I went out to wrangle the next morning. Yes, wrangle. As in getting horses in from the pasture. On a horse. I know, totally unbelievable, right?
It all melted by noon, and the boys came the next day on a bright and shining warm day. Figures. Although there was so much snow melting from this winter that the guy counselors had to dig a trench through camp (named Winds 2 after the river that goes through the front of the property) the morning the campers and their parents arrived. The boys are great. A lot of returning faces from last year, although they are a lot higher up (some kid grew 6 inches in a year, another didn't grow at all).
Looks like Christmas right? Deceptive. Well, the campers are trying to kill themselves (i.e. Parkour), so I better go. But I'll write again soon, I promise!
